Hi there! I'm Steven (or Steve, as most people seem to call me)...I'm a native Houstonian and avid photography enthusiast. Growing up in Texas I've seen a lot, done a lot, and as I have quickly found out, there are a lot of great things to shoot!

I see photography as a way of getting outside of myself and seeing things from a different perspective. When I'm behind the camera, my sole focus is to capture the image that speaks to me, whether I'm planning for it or even if I'm not. As a matter of fact, some of the best images I've ever gotten have been completely unplanned! But I try to plan for the unexpected moments and always keep my finger on the shutter button!

I hold an undergraduate degree in Finance from Texas A&M University (whoop!), a graduate degree in Telecommunications Management from Oklahoma State University, and have been awarded both national and international awards in biotech sales, where I've learned that customers always come first and whatever you seek to do, make sure the customer is first in mind.

I shoot a lot of events around the greater Houston area, and as a freelance photographer and event photographer for Stroll Tanglewood magazine, I get an opportunity to see and experience a lot. So if you see me out and about, come and say hello!

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, dining out, and writing (I've actually self published three books). But any time I can pick up my camera and go out to capture life I feel right at home!
